the Sino-Japanese Agreement (日清協約)
The Sino-Japanese Agreement was the treaty concluded between Japan and the Qing Dynasty which ruled China. Commonly it is referred to 'the Sino-Japanese Agreement on Machuria and Kando' or 'the Kando Agreement' which was concluded on September 4, 1909. Before Japan annexed Korea in 1910, this agreement had a significance demarcating a border between Qing and the Korean Empire.
